About

Anxiety, stomach aches, depression, splinters, breakups and paper cuts have all taught me a valuable lesson: when it comes to me, I know best.

Choosing a random career and “sticking with it” has never sat right with me. I want the freedom to honor ALL my dreams (there are a lot) and follow my inspiration. That is the life I am building for myself.

Hi, i just noticed your blog appear on wordpress and thought i would share a book with you that i casually picked up in the library because I liked the title. http://www.gwynethlewis.com/books_sunbathingintherain.shtml
I didn’t realise it was a book about a struggle with depression but it was so well written, I read it through to the end. From it, I learnt about some other books including The Artist’s Way http://juliacameronlive.com/ which has an idea about “morning pages” which I think may appeal to you. It’s sure cleared my mind every morning. Your blog is great and I know that fighting the fight is more difficult than waving the white flag sometimes, but just look at the list of things you love you’ve created to remind you why life is good.

  2. Keep writing, I know from personal experience that it helps. I commend you for putting everything out there. You probably already know this, but you’re certainly not alone when it comes to depression and anxiety…our lives are rife with opportunities for both to sneak in occassionally. Wishing you well on your journey!

  7. I just read through a couple of your entries and I can relate a lot to your thought process, as I myself have been writing in journal for years, also in a quest to truly figure out who I am and how to live the most fulfilling life possible. Keep up the great work! I started a blog recently as well, as a way to help me focus on one of my passions: social justice. check it out if you would ever like to…www.1000waystohelptheworld.com
